Meet the Staff at BoydVision
Candy is one of our certified ophthalmic assistants and is also a lens implant consultant for patients looking for cataract surgery. She’s been on our team for 24 years and greets everyone with a smile!
Candy speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and a little bit of Korean too. She’s also had laser eye surgery herself, making her a great person to talk to. She’s in the office every day, so when you’re here for your free consultation, make sure to say hello!
Ritchie is also one of our ophthalmic assistants who perform many of the tests needed and prepares the information for Dr. Boyd to determine the best type of care for a patient. She is in the office every day and will happily answer any questions you might have in Mandarin or Cantonese.
Helen is one of our surgical coordinators and she is also an optician. As an optician, she knows all there is to know about glasses, contacts, and of course, laser eye surgery. She’ll be able to discuss the pros and cons of your eye care options in Spanish. She’s also in the office every day of the week!
Ranita is one of our ophthalmic technicians and assists Dr. Boyd by performing patient eye exams and diagnostic tests. These tests are crucial for you to receive the best care possible! She’ll also be able to help you schedule your laser eye surgery in Vancouver.
Ranita speaks Hindi and Punjabi. If these are your preferred languages, call us at 604.430.9560 early in the week, as she’s in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Jenn is another one of our friendly technicians who assists Dr. Boyd with visual exams. She can answer all of your questions about laser eye surgery and cataract surgery. She’s also in the office every day and speaks Tagalog.
