Out of Town Patients
BoydVision proudly serves clients from Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey, Alberta, as well as clients from Washington State. If coming from out of town for your laser eye surgery you won't have to stay long (possibly as short as one overnight stay). The minimum requirement for LASIK is for your one day post-op visit to be done at BoydVision Centre. The remaining visits can be done with an optometrist in your area. We will help you in arranging your appointments, or even to find an optometrist if you don't already have one.
The cost of your surgery is adjusted to help offset the fees you will need to pay to the optometrist for post-operative follow-up. In most cases, the total cost (excluding travel and accommodations) would be much the same as a Vancouverite would pay. Bear in mind that not everyone's experience is the same, so total costs may vary.
