Out of Town Patients
BoydVision proudly serves clients from Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Surrey, and Alberta, as well as clients from Washington State. If you are an out-of-town patient (outside Metro Vancouver/Fraser Valley/Squamish-Lillooet regional district boundaries), you are eligible for a price adjustment, to offset the fees you will need to pay to a local optometrist for post-operative follow-up when you get home. In most cases the total cost (excluding travel and accommodations) will be about the same as what a local patient would pay.
If you are coming from out-of-town for your laser eye surgery you won't have to stay long (possibly as short as one overnight stay). The minimum requirement for LASIK is a one day post-op visit – to be done at BoydVision Centre. The remaining visits can be done with an optometrist in your area. We will help you in arranging your appointments, or finding an optometrist in your area, if you don't already have one.

A short walk to bus or SkyTrain and a twenty minute ride will connect you to all the wonderful sights of Vancouver including Gastown, Granville Island Market, Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium, and many more.
